Diljit Dosanjh is currently on the India leg of his much-talked-about Dil-Luminati tour after performing across the world. The actor-singer kickstarted the tour in India by performing at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26 and 27, and has been making headlines since. On Monday night, Amar Singh Chamkila Director Imtiaz Ali posted a series of clips from the Delhi concert on his Instagram Stories to show his love and support for Diljit. In one of the clips posted by a fan, the director re-shared it tagging Diljit and added the caption, "rocking the country!!!"
In the clip from Day 2 of the concert, Diljit is performing the folk singer Amar Singh Chamkila's original song Pehle Lalkare, which also featured in his biopic where he played the titular role.
In another clip shared by the director from the first day of the concert, Diljit is performing Ishq Mitaaye from the same movie.
Diljit Dosanjh's collaboration with Imtiaz Ali for Amar Singh Chamkila's biopic on Netflix received immense acclaim from critics and audiences, for the storytelling. AR Rahman's composition for the movie also made it a musical hit. It also featured Parineeti Chopra who played Diljit's on-screen second wife, Amarjot Kaur.
Diljit is set to perform next in Jaipur on November 3, followed by Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
